This big, handsome, confident young boy is Browski and he is a gem! Browski does great with other dogs, old and young. He loves the kitty cats in his foster home and he loves meeting new people - never met a stranger, as he makes friends on the spot (he's good with kids too!). He is a favorite at the vet’s office. He is medium energy, house trained, crate trained, and very well behaved indoors. He is just the sweetest and loves to snuggle! Tolerates baths and brushing like he is used to it. Loves to hold hands. Has extremely long legs, big head and big feet - He will be a giant. His foster family adores him and so does everybody who meets him. This smart boy learns incredibly fast and already knows “sit,” “shake,” “down” and “stay.” Walks great on a leash, loves his daily walks and sniffaris. Loads up for car rides, doesn't dig, and is an average Pyr alert barker. He's a chill guy who enjoys spending time indoors snacking on cheese, peanut butter, yogurt, and blueberries! He loves to have his face and snout rubbed and kissed. Would do best in a home with a 6-foot fenced yard, other dogs, cats and a human that is willing to include him in all the things. We just love this big sweet boy and so will you. Put in your app today! Any family will be extremely lucky to have this loyal, loving, gentle giant as part of their family!

NYS Registered Non-Profit Rescue # RR102. National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog.
Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
