Harry Potter, one of three brothers, is a lucky, lovable pup brought into rescue after the trio was surrendered to a shelter. Harry Potter and his brothers are Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mixes who are being raised in a loving foster home with big and small dogs, cats, and children. They are loving life where they have a warm bed, plenty of food and spend their days playing, running, and taking naps before they do it all again! This boy is a playful pup who truly enjoys his brothers and is very respectful of the other dogs in the home—big and small. Harry loves to be held and get plenty of belly scratches. He really loves to run with the kiddos in his foster home and will even play fetch. This boy will need a home with a playful canine sister, a family who has plenty of time to continue his training and a big, fenced yard to keep him safe. Harry Potter is just a happy-go-lucky, boy who always has a smile on his face, ready for the next adventure!

NYS Registered Rescue # RR102

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

If you can't foster or adopt at this time, please consider helping our Neediest Cases or making a tax-exempt donation by visiting our Donate page.
