Isn't McGraw the most handsome boy with his one blue eye and one brown?! McGraw is a high-energy, silly and goofy adolescent boy with a soft and short coat of all black. He is full of curiosity and is screening applications for his furever family. McGraw has a few "requirements" for his furever people - they have to: (1) love and cherish him unconditionally, (2) have unlimited quota for hugs and kisses and cuddles, and (3) be his adventure buddy for all things fun and interesting. Now, McGraw also brings his A-game to the party - he is a lovely boy with great house manners, is an excellent sleeper, has zero interest in barking, and walks well on leash. While McGraw loves to run and play just like any other young pup, he is happy to chill and relax with you in the house as well. Going out to restaurants to meet new people is also a fun time, as more people equal more pets! - He pretends he’s shy for a second, but is less so as time goes on. That said, he’s immediate friends with all kids, approaching them straight away for lovings. If you like to take long strolls in the neighborhood or a relaxing hike in nature, McGraw would love nothing more than to be your adventure buddy and then come home for some cuddles. He’d also enjoy a 4’ fenced yard for some quality stick-chewing time, and another canine friend to play with would be awesome. He’s a big fan of going to the dog park to wrestle with his buddies and chase after some balls. If you feel you can meet his "requirements," we are pawsitive this happy boy will be your sidekick for years to come!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
